Branding your business is critical to growing your business. Find your elevator pitch for your business, your mission statement and use these to market your business, product, and/or services over and over again. Often outside graphic designers are needed for that just right look that brands you visually, to attract your customers’ attention. Stick with and expand that branding concept so you are recognized immediately, whether be it a logo or advertising. Grab the eye of the consumer. We all know a Coca Cola bottle when we see it!!

Get the most out of advertising your business: social media such as face book, twitter, twitter, twitter, google keywords, instagram.

Consider selling products online.

Establish a local network…business to business meet ups, local papers, speaking at community service groups, speak at business groups. Consider local newspapers who want a story about you and your business. They would run it at no cost to you. Network, network, network.

An expensive but often worthwhile exposure opportunity are trade shows. Your booths must be creative and may entail extra expenses by hiring a creative firm.

Create in-house promotions, incentives, give-aways, and then advertise about these events and items. Again, be creative, use your brand logo.

Keep watch on the competitions’ advertising and promos and keep ahead of the others. They promote, you promote more.

Keep your website up to date and looking good and always add reviews and new testimonials. Ask your most recent satisfied customers for their testimonials. Consider a blog and/or videos.

Paid advertising may be unavoidable. Discuss your budget with the sales rep at a given advertising platform and negotiate price!
